MY STORY

    Ever since I was little I have always wanted to tell stories.  I have videos of me interviewing my family members and asking them about their jobs or thoughts on certain topics.  Even when my mom gave obvious signs that she was tired of my 7-year-old energy for the day, I still eagerly asked her questions and reported back to my little pink video camera.    When I got to high school I started working for VYPE media where I gained experience with interviewing in front of a camera and writing articles.  That was when I knew I wanted to pursue journalism as a career.

    In my free time I love to paint and draw things I see in nature.  Being outdoors, especially by the ocean, is one of my favorite places to be.  I also love to travel and spend time with my younger brother, sister and Goldendoodle, Wrigley.

   I have always had a go-getter attitude and I continue to stay motivated to achieve my goals in life.  I'm excited to continue to grow as a writer and have the opportunity to tell powerful stories that need to be heard.
